NYE Dust storm

On New Years Eve 2028 at Narromine in Western New South Wales, we had the rare opportunity to witness an incredible dust storm roll over us.  A towering wall of red dust, 100s of feet tall, lifted from the drought-plagued red plains of the outback by strong winds and carried eastward with a roar. We watched it in the distance and were amazed by the speed with which it reached us, enveloping the landscape and leaving us driving back to the farmhouse in the dark (at 5:30 in the afternoon!). It covered the ground, car, cothesline, animals and trees in thick red dirt and was gone as quickly as it arrived.  A truly rare sight and one we will surely not forget.
