Bombo Quarry, just North of Kiama NSW is an amazing location to visit and photograph, at sunrise, sunset and after dark. The towering basalt columns and giant bolders left after the blue metal mining of the late 19th and early 20th centuries provide a landscape like no other. The colourful crepuscular rays this particular morning in December 2022 were simple incredible and trandformed the rockshelf into a series of shallow and reflective pools of colour.
